It’s Mark with Home Maintenance Masonry back with another video for you guys. In this video, we are doing a brick step and sidewalk repair. As you can see in the video, the homeowner had a ramp. We are going to build them a radius set of steps – three brick to three brick, which simply means that they will form a slight circular shape though it won’t be much with the bricks. It’s hard to envision what we’re doing from the start of this video, but we wanted to let you see a “before” video of the project.
Starting at about 0:43, you can see some of the repairs that we made to the homeowner’s sidewalk. The first area that we show you was actually buckled up. We were able to break it down, level it out and repair it so that it is now smooth and level with the rest of the sidewalk.
Then, at about 1:00 into the video, you can see the work that we did on the brick steps that we talked about at the very beginning of the video. You can see that we came straight out from the porch with three bricks. As you can see, the circular form is just slightly visible. It can be seen a bit more from the outside of the steps.
