Hi everyone! We’re here with a driveway resurfacing project in Pensacola, FL. We just finished pressure washing the driveway, which was done after we chiseled out all the cracks in the concrete. As you can see in the video, the driveway had significantly deteriorated over the years since it had been installed. There are numerous cracks all the way from the street up to the garage, running both horizontally and vertically. Some of them are more significant than others, but they all need to be repaired nonetheless.
You can see in the video that we haven’t already started filling in the cracks with the material that we use to seal the cracks before we actually put the material to top and bond material on top to resurface it. We have to fill the cracks first so that when we do come back over the driveway it will look brand new. It will be completely transformed. It won’t even be recognizable.
Though the sidewalk at this house does not have any cracks, which is very surprising, as this is not usually the case in these situations, it does have one small separation at the expansion joint. We took the pressure washer to the sidewalk and we will be applying the resurfacing material to it as well so it blends it nicely with the driveway once it has been refinished.
At 3:01, you can see the resurfaced driveway. It looks as if we completely tore out the old concrete and poured a brand new one. Right now, it is still drying so you can still see the cracks. However, once it finishes drying, those cracks will not be visible.
